Welcome to Resumost! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the resumost.com website (the "Site") and the services offered, including our AI-powered resume builder, cover letter generator, job tracker, and knowledge base (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Account Registration You must create an account to access most features of our Services. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

• Free Plan: Our Free plan allows for limited use of our features as detailed on our Pricing page.
• Pro Plans: We offer paid subscription plans ("Pro Plans") that provide access to enhanced features. These plans are available on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis, as well as a one-time trial offer.
• Billing: By purchasing a Pro Plan, you authorize us and our third-party payment processor (Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for the selected subscription term.
• Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged for the next period. No refunds will be issued for the current billing period.

3. Use of Services

• Master Resume: You may create one (1) Master Resume which serves as the foundational data for creating job-specific documents.
• AI-Generated Content: Our Services use artificial intelligence to generate content such as resume text and cover letters ("AI Content"). You acknowledge that AI Content is generated based on the information you provide and may require review and editing to ensure accuracy and suitability. Resumost is not responsible for any inaccuracies in AI Content.
• Acceptable Use: You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to create any content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others.

4. Intellectual Property

• Our Content: The Resumost website, its features, branding, and all underlying technology are the exclusive property of Resumost and its licensors.
• Your Content: You retain full ownership of the personal information and content you upload to your account, including your Master Resume ("Your Content"). You grant Resumost a limited, non-exclusive license to use, store, and process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability Resumost provides a tool to assist you in your job search. We do not guarantee employment or job interviews. The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resumost shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of the Services.

6. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

7. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Services after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
